It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aurora Saldana Zepeda of Aurora, Illinois, born in Sondheimer, Louisiana, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Saldana and Gertrudez Saldana (Aguirre); her brother Arnoldo Saldana; and her brothers-in-law, Andres, Gilberto and Pedro "Pinky" Zepeda.
She is survived by: her husband Jose Francisco Zepeda "Frank"; her children, Esmeralda Tellner (David), Michael Zepeda (Adela), Rinaldo Zepeda (Michelle), Jessica Marmolejo (Ricardo), Jessie Zepeda (Lilliana) and Jose A. Zepeda (Silvia); her grandchildren, Frankie (Lisa), Adam, Pauly, Jennifer, David Jr., Niko, Emily, Ray Jr., Noel (Valeria), Isabel, Jonathan, Jocelyn, Roselyn, Brooklyn, Leo and Isaac; her great grandchildren, Austin, Peyton, Natalie, Giselle, Dalilah, Madison and Ace; and her siblings, Maria Elva Gonzalez (Gregorio), Hector Saldana (late Anita), Robert Saldana (Sylvia), Estella Villarreal (late Martin), Diana Gonzalez (late Rudy), Sylvia Fauria (Matthew), Criselda Rios (Hector), Jesus Saldana (Luccia), Lydia Villanueva (Michael), Delia Luna (Manuel), Ilda Saldana and Jerry Saldana (Martha).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for a memorial that will be established.
