He was predeceased by: his parents, William Matlock and Pauline Matlock (Byfield); and his brother Stanton. He is survived by: his wife Rose Dutton; his sons, Mike Matlock (Joan) of Joliet, IL and Patrick Matlock (Alesia) of Basking Ridge, NJ; his grandchildren, Randy, Rachael, Rozalind, Megan, Jacob and Sophia; and his sister Sharon McGill (David). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pomegranate Restaurant and Cafe (55 S Commons Dr, Aurora, IL 60504).
