It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen G. Valentin of Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Gonzalez and Jose Gerena; her daughter Marilyn Valentin; and her siblings, Sofia, Nina and Raul.
She is survived by: her husband German Valentin; her children, Nilsa Valentin Reyna, Germane Valentin, Edwin Valentin and Debbie King; and her grandchildren, Jose Reyna, Antonio Rodriguez, Adam Ortega, Alec Valentin, Eric Kopitke, Alyze Valentin, Takayla Valentin and William Valentin. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
