It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. Golec (Aurora, Illinois), who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hank Golec and Lorraine Golec; his sister Susan Golec; and his pets, Frank, Mookie and Tiki.
He is survived by: his wife Mary K. Golec (Anderson); his children, Raymond P. McGarvey (Heather), Nichole McGarvey, Haley Golec (Ricky) and Charles Golec; his grandchildren, Raymond McGarvey, Jr., Brandon McGarvey, Jonathan McGarvey, Alex McGarvey, Jakob McGarvey, Elizabeth Fregoso, Justin Fregoso, Amelia Jimenez (Golec) and Sebastian Cortez (Golec); his siblings, Ron Golec, Bill Golec and Sandra Lindsay; and his pets, Lily and Loki.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
