He is survived by: his wife Wanda Nelson of Aurora; his sons, Danny Nelson Jr. (Gina) of Tyler, TX., John Nelson (Nikki) of Minooka, IL, Phillip Nelson (Sabrina) of Plano, IL, Michael Nelson (Melissa) of Blairsville, PA, Bryan Nelson (Shay) of Aurora, IL and Mark Nelson (Marielle) of Somonauk, IL.; and his siblings, Russel Nelson (Deborah) of Ottawa, IL, Diana Alderson (Bob) of Three Rivers, MI and Pam Hapner of Somonauk, IL. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
