He was predeceased by: his parents, John Medernach and Loretta Medernach (Hannan); his son Dennis; his siblings, Jim, John, Sam, Al, Frank, Fritz, Mary Yager and Carolyne Cherwin; his siblings-in-law, Bill Frantzen, Don Cherwin, Woody Woodard, Gerald Yager, Bob Lee, Ron Carpentier, Alice Lee (Bob Lee), Mary Lou Carpentier, Ceil Woodard and Meanie Medernach; and his nieces and nephews, Stacy, Bruce, Jackie Frantzen, Craig Cherwin and Michael Bonifas.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Hettinger; his children, Darla (Louise Hammond) of Aurora, IL, Diane Petesch (Dan) of Cape Coral, FL, Dan (Colleen) of Geneva, IL and Don (Sandy) of Washburn, TN; his grandchildren, Joshua (Blakeley), Connor, Jori Pair (Aric) and Trent (Andrea); his great grandchild Beckett; his siblings, Marie Frantzen, Hop (Marcia) and Gregg (Gloria); and his siblings-in-law, Janet, Kay Medernach and Bob Bonifas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
