He was predeceased by: his grandchild Brittny Allbee Leyva; his parents, Sam DeMeo and Hazel DeMeo; and his uncle Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Meluch DeMeo of Aurora, IL; his children, Dion Heintz (Lynn Cabe) of Chicago, Dale Heintz (Shelly) of Cottage Grove, OR and Dana Smitley (Jeff) of Rosco, IL; his stepchildren, Roger Meluch of Las Vegas, NV, Greg Meluch (Karen) of Cary, NC, Pam Allbee (Mark) of Yorkville, Dan Meluch (Darla) of Naperville and Michael Meluch (Lynn) of Naperville; his grandchildren, Zoe, Ryan Heintz, Andrew, Kaitlyn Smitley, Ryan Meluch (Hannah), Alyssa Pudney (Alex), Kyle, Jessica, Sydney Meluch, Kailee, Dalton, Gracie Meluch, Matthew Allbee (Debbie) and Luke Allbee (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Wrigley, Carson Meluch, Louis, Leo, Bayla Leyva, Benjamin and Kelley Allbee; his sister Sarah Chiapetta (Victor) of Petaluma, CA; his aunt Lillian Stanik; and his niece Hannah Stefenoin (Joe).
