We are sad to announce that, on January 20, 2022, at the age of 95, Doris J. Kirhofer (Aurora, Illinois), born in Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris J. Kirhofer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Crowl and Mini Crowl; her husband Walt; her sister Virginia Barnett; her siblings-in-law, Bruce Barnett and Marilyn Crowl; and her granddaughter Christina Hansen.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Hansen (Bob), Doug Kirhofer (Kim) and John Kirhofer of Aurora; her grandchildren, Eric, Kelly Hansen, Brett, Brian, Jake (Brooke) and Jeff Kirhofer; and her brothers, Bud (Anne) and Dick Crowl. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Wayside Cross Ministries or to Westminster Presbyterian Church.

“David and I are so sad to say goodbye to Doris! She is part of the reason we came to Westminster. After attending a funeral there, we decided to give it another try. Doris came to our home for a visit. She brought goodies and told us how much she loved the Lord and how much she loved her church. We were soon members. Doris, we will be forever grateful! We will miss that spunky lady, Our condolences to the whole Kirhoffer family! Isn’t it wonderful she is in Heaven with Jesus and Walt?”
