Duane R. McKirgan Obituary
Duane R. McKirgan, 74, of Aurora, IL passed away on September 13, 2022 after a long, 11 year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on April 8, 1948 in Aurora, IL the son of Ralph and Evelyn (Hage) McKirgan. In 1966 he graduated from Hinckley High School. Duane worked in IT for many years. He was employed with Barber Greene, Old Second Bank in Aurora and FTD. He loved bowling and spent many nights playing pool with his father-in-law.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Sherry McKirgan (Stiegleiter); children, Duane McKirgan, Jr. and Christopher (Chrissy) McKirgan; grandchildren, Brandon and Cole McKirgan; 1 great-granddaughter; siblings, Diane Gordon, Renae Rhoades and Linda (John) Wildin; and brother-in-law Dennis Stiegleiter.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother Elaine McKirgan; siblings Dale and Daniel McKirgan and Dawn Hopkins, and in-laws George and Clara Stiegleiter as well as brother-in-law Ron Stiegleiter.
