He was predeceased by: his parent Anna Bovio (Boynton); his wife Frances; his sons, Frank and Art; his grandson Artie; his brother Anthony; and his son-in-law Joe.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Jackie Baron (Ben); his children, Kathi Harpole (Jim), Karen Bovio and Fran Klima; and his grandchildren, Jim Dirks (Nicole), Rich Yackley, Michael Bovio (Dawn), Sara Yackley (Scott), Madisyn Audette, Maxwell Klima (Bridgette) and Melina Klima. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
