She was predeceased by: her parents, Genie Ward and Joseph A. Ward; her siblings, Marie Bailey, Joseph Ward and Darryl; her nephew Ellis Bailey; her niece Mary Bailey; her grandson Jordan Braxton; and her great-nephews, Tyriece M. Gordon and Demaszjae Miller.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gene A. Ward, Sharon, James and Ivy [Ward] Carter; and her children, Lisa Ward, Curtis Ward, Breena [Ward] Lathan and Lyndsey [Ward] Jones. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
