He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Percy (Moore) and Arthur Shelley; his grandparents, Roberta and Charlie Percy; and his brother Edward Moore (Sheila).

He is survived by: his siblings, Bronzeville, Diane M. Shelley, Ronnie Moore and Church Chicago; and his nephew Romaine Ruchell Bostick.
