He was predeceased by: his parent Mary Kloth; his son Howard Kloth, Jr.; his siblings, Judy Gallagher, John DeRoach and Bobbiegayle Mullinax; and his nephew Jimmy Sago.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Vilmin; his daughter Christina Scott (Paul Carter); his grandchildren, Britny Kloth (Joseph Florio), Tyler Lawrence and Alexander Scott; and his parrot Ben. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and countless friends.
