He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Carson and June Carson (Mason); his wife Betty; his brothers, Jack Carson, Dr. Tom Carson and Dr. Dick Carson; his daughter Audry Jean; his daughter-in-law Sandra; and his grandson-in-law Scott Wredling.
He is survived by: his children, Bill (Jane), Chuck (Barb), Mark (Kathryn) and Sue Meyer (Scott); his grandchildren, Samantha Wredling, Briana Carson, Amanda Steil (Adam), Zachary (Sarah), Cody, James and Jacob Meyer; and his great grandchildren, Declan, Brayden, Sawyer and Emelia.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New England Congregational Church (460 W Galena Blvd, Aurora, IL 60506).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jim's name may be directed to New England Congregational Church or the Rotary Club of Aurora United.
