He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Watgen and Margaret Watgen (Schneider); his brothers, Edwin, Richard and Robert Watgen; and his son David Watgen.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his children, Wayne "Butch" Watgen (Mary) and Diane Federman; his stepdaughter Denise Hernandez; and his sister Elaine Little. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
