Joan M. Platt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan M. Platt (Aurora, Illinois), who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Trapp and Emil Trapp; her granddaughter Jeanne; and her siblings, Mary Hammond and Rev. Ron Trapp.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Sandy), Steve (Ann), Nancy Robison (Taylor), Dan (Kathy), Julie Anderson and Tom Platt (Patty); and her grandchildren, Kelly, Bob, Ryan, Andy, Tim, Kari, Rebecca, John, Amy, Lyndsi, Lisa, Bryan, Brett, Ethan and Lanie. She is also survived by 35 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be directed to wayside Cross Ministries (Lifespring) or to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
