We are sad to announce that, on May 3, 2023, at the age of 86, John D. Onken of Aurora, Illinois, born in Mason City, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John D. Onken to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Onken (Reedy); his parents, John Onken and Vivian "Reynolds" Onken; and his siblings, Doris Jones, Anna Lou Kramer, Jeannie Boyer and Donnie Onken.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Onken (Diane) and Brian Onken; his grandchildren, Natalie Spangler (Nolan), Monica Canale (Jack) and Jeffrey Onken (Rachel Reed); his great grandchildren, Marina and Foster Spangler; and his brother-in-law Paul "Bud" Reedy (Sharleen). He is also survived by his sons, grandson and friends.
