He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jane Schleinzer; his children, Glenn Schleinzer (Lisa), Jason Schleinzer (Sarah) and Jessica Schleinzer; his grandsons, Will, Tyler, Jack and Dylan Schleinzer; his mother Patricia Schleinzer; his siblings, Pattie Johnson (Warren "Kip"), Warren Schleinzer (Sandy) and Mary Almassey (Dan); and his father Warren Schleinzer.

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory - South Naperville (24021 Royal Worlington Dr, Naperville, IL 60564). A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
