He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hays and Victorine Hays. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Hays; his daughter Patricia "Toddie" Hays-Sesterhenn (Stephen Sesterhenn); his stepsons, Stanley "Jake" Ciesielczyk (Karen), Tony Ciesielczyk and Michael Ciesielczyk (Angela); his grandchildren, Kadence Sesterhenn, Matthew Ciesielczyk and Alicia Meeker (Drew); his great grandchild Shaun Meeker; and his friend Stanley Ciesielczyk, Jr..
