He is survived by: his wife Josie Nava; his daughter Emily Nava (Cristian Figueroa); his parents, Jesus Nava and Esperanza Nava (Ramirez); his grandson Juan Carlos III; his siblings, Mauricio, Jesus, Victor, Tony, Polo and Nancy Ahmad; his grandmothers, Rita Espinoza and Magdalena Landeros; his in-laws, Jesus and Eustolia Banuelos; his siblings-in-law, Rene Banuelos, Myra Burciaga and Jacky Garcia; his godchildren, Samira Nava, Kiranza Nava, Everly Ahmad, Mateo Nava and Gerardo Ruiz; and his pet Millie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Nicholas Catholic Church (308 High St, Aurora, IL 60505).
