She was predeceased by: her parents, Vince Shubat and Helen Shubat; and her brother Jack Shubat (Shirley). She is survived by: her husband Robert Vail; her brother Vince Shubat (Nancy); her nieces and nephews, Tanya Thomas (Craig), Sheila Hockel (John), Dana Moeller-Musso (Steve), Theodore Shubat (Vickie) and Milo Shubat (Jean); and her siblings-in-law, Kathleen Vail (Myron Struck), James Vail, Thomas Vail and Stephen Vail.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hesed House in Aurora, IL, Catholic Charites of Chicago, or to St. Louis Scottish Terrier Rescue.
