He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bauer and Lydia Bauer (Becker); and his siblings, Delores Uhrig (Bauer) and Donald Bauer. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Magill; his children, Jeff Bauer (Lynn) of Oswego, Joel Bauer (Christy) of Sycamore and Carey Scheinost (Craig) of Geneva; his grandchildren, Brooke Bauer, Alissa Hem (Jeff), Stephen Geinosky (Jessica), Trevor Bauer (Amy), Alexander Bauer (Melanie), Kristin Scheinost and Eric Bauer (Alyssa); his great grandchildren, Elliott, Greta, Adelaide, Hudson, Carter, Kamryn and Lennon; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Bauer of Wheaton and Mary Kay Vester of Albuquerque. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
