He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Vittorio and Maria Sestito (Macri); his siblings, Antonietta Felicia (Modesto Torchia), Rosario Pasquale and Giuseppe Salvatore (Italia); his nephew Davide; and his brother-in-law John Herkes.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Joel Vittorio (Ella Raich) of Bayside and Catherine Maria (Kyle Hanratty); his granddaughter Evelyn Rose Hanratty of Jacksonville, Florida.; his brother Salvatore Romano (Hanneke Havers) of Grassina; his brother-in-law Dan Herkes (Nancy) of Sugar Grove; and his nieces, Elaine (Dave Northrop) and Emily (Will Smith). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be sent to the St. Joseph Indian School, 1301 N. Main Street, Chamberlain, South Dakota 57325.
