She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Turano and Dorthe Turano (Alpers); her husband Gerry; and her sister Kay Dalton. She is survived by: her sons, Jon LaLena (Robin), Craig LaLena (Deb) and Geoff LaLena (Matt Gregg); her grandchildren, Brandon, Paige, Kyle and Sydney LaLena; her brother Ray Turano (Cathy); and her brother-in-law Tom Dalton. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Living Well, a Northwestern cancer support organization, which supported her the last 13 years while battling multiple myeloma cancer.
