He was predeceased by: his parents, Magdeleno Sr. Rivera and Sylvia Rivera (Ayala); his grandparents, Merced, Ramana Rivera (Becerra), Socorro Hernandez and Ramon Ayala; and his aunt Maria Elena Ayala.
He is survived by: his sisters, Dolores Ugalde (Marco), Brenda Rivera (Luis Duran) and Mayra Rivera (Gerardo Aceves); his nieces and nephews, Angelica, Eric, Briana, Andrew, Julian and Elena; and his uncle Bobby Ayala (Elizabeth).
