He was predeceased by: his wife Consuelo Sanchez; his parents, Margarito Sr. Sanchez and Gertrudez Sanchez; and his brothers, Ricardo Sanchez, Ismael "Guero" Sanchez and Jesus "Roy" Sanchez.
He is survived by: his daughter Esmeralda Mata (Roberto); his grandchildren, Daisy Mendoza (Edwin Barajas), Julian Luna, Oscar Rodriguez (Kimberly Guillen), Josiah Gonzalez and Deliyana Gonzalez; and his siblings, Alamar Arambula (late Angel) and Hector Sanchez (Judy Beach). He is also survived by father and grandfather who was always there for his family.
