It is with sadness that the passing of Mary L. Hinterlong of Aurora, Illinois is shared. Mary, born on July 25, 1938, passed away on June 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Weiler and Loretta Weiler (Plein); her husband Ken Hinterlong Sr.; her brother John Gregory Weiler; her daughter-in-law Julie Hinterlong; and her siblings-in-law, Lois Testin (Jerry), Howard and Lee Hinterlong.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Jr. (Taweepawn), Martin (Pam), Thomas (Diane), Ronald (Cindy Fields) and Katherine; her grandchildren, John "Jack" Hinterlong (Ashley), Stacey Hinterlong (Mickey Bacha), James Hinterlong, Jaron Hinterlong, Daniel Hinterlong, Paul Hinterlong, Brian Hinterlong, Kari Zielke (Andrew), Kevin Hinterlong (Jane), Gabrielle Somers (Lonnie) and Iesa Hinterlong; her stepgrandchildren, Kristin Davis (Allen) and Kristopher Coffie; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Weiler of Long Prairie, Minnesota, Donald Hinterlong (Pat), Russell Hinterlong (Loretta) and Jerry Testin. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church.
