It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael E. Schnable of Aurora, Illinois, born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Kevin Schnable (Dina) of Plainfield, IL, Mark Schnable (Jenni) of Fishers, IN and Kelly Epley (Michael) of Montgomery, IL; his stepchildren, David Hunt (Sarah) of Wheaton, IL and Tanya Wiskur (Matt) of Montgomery, IL; and his grandchildren, Kara, Eric Schnable, Trent, Blake Epley, Makenna, Luke Schnable, Sawyer, Sophia, Harrison Hunt, Atticus and Tatum Wiskur.

In lieu of flowers, the family is working on a scholarship fund with Oswego High School where he bled orange and blue.
