It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael E. Pennington of Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth "Doc" Pennington and Lorraine Pennington. He is survived by: his brothers, Jerry Pennington (Kelley) and James Pennington (Kim); his nephews, Patrick Pennington, Adam Pennington and Aurie Pennington (Jackie); and his niece Trista Countryman (Kyle). He is also survived by five great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michael's name may be made to the Plainfield Historical Society.
