Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mildred Balika of Aurora, Illinois, born in Tampico, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 96, on December 28, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Elmendorf and Veronica Elmendorf; her husband Louis Balika; and her sisters, Helen Adams and Mary Elmendorf.

She is survived by: her children, Julie Kay (Alan Isberg), Mary Beth (Richard Schneider) and David Louis (Shirley Balika); and her grandchildren, John Isberg, Kristin Brennan, Amy Shufflin, Matthew Schneider, Molly Dowdeswell, Brian, Ben and Brett Balika. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to benefit her favorite charities.
