She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Rivero and Elena Rivero (Gomez); her husband Jose; and her sister Delma Diaz (late Ernesto). She is survived by: her daughters, Lizet Flores (Jaime) and Maria Merlo (Alex); her grandchildren, Dr. Alex Jr. Merlo (Nancy), David Merlo (Kelsey), Katie Merlo, Elizabeth Flores and Helen Flores; and her sisters, Daisy Rivero (late Luis) and Elsa Rivero. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear relatives.
