With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Neva M. Nelson of Aurora, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Sigmund W. "Sig" Nelson Jr.; her parents, Ivar and Mina; and her sister-in-law Lorraine Olson (late Robert). She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Nelson of Shorewood, IL and Bradley Nelson (Jenny) of Lisle, IL; her grandchildren, Christopher, Adam, Savannah, Jessica and Jordon; and her nieces, Carol, Nancy and Julie.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Neva's memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
