He was predeceased by: his parents, Agustin Rivera and Maria Josefa Berrios; and his siblings, Valentine (Carmela), Enrique (Marian) and Maria Isabel (Enrique).

He is survived by: his spouse Mirna Lopez; his children, Ryan (Graham), Orlando Jr. and Carlos; his stepchildren, Eddie (Daniella), Eliel (Ashley), Amiel, Felicia, Ava, Rayden, William and Alani; and his siblings, Rafael (Carmen), Antonio (Carmen), Carlos, Ramon (Rose), Carmen, Maria Antonia, Aida Rosa (Ray), Roberto (Chary), Luz Nereida (Tony) and Marta (Carlos).
