It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Yates (Aurora, Illinois), born in Little Mountain, South Carolina, who passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude L. Jones and Gussie Jones. She is survived by: her children, Dean Yates and Karen (Bowman); her son-in-law Steve Bowman; her grandchildren, Dana E Bowman (Joiya), Brenden Bowman, Holly Zapata and Choice Edward Yates; and her great grandchild Jianni Zapata.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Healy Chapel (332 W Downer Pl, Aurora, IL 60506). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Requesting no flowers please, however donations in her honor to Veterans or First Responders, would be greatly appreciated. Keep Patricia Yates's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
