It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip A. Hurd of Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Hurd and Luella Hurd; his wife Joyce Hurd (Nilles); his brother Jerome; his niece Marcia Wade (Hurd); and his friend Dale Booth.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Celia) and Anthony Hurd (Deborah); his grandchildren, Colleen Knipper (Jeffery), Dirk Hurd (Rachel), Garth Hurd (Ashley), Craig Hurd (Laura), Curt Hurd (Susan), Paul Hurd (Kirstillyn) and Amy Hurd; his great grandchildren, Owen, Ayla, Lincoln, Finley, Serena, Vinny, Luke and Maddy; his brother Robert Hurd; and his caregivers, Tyler Rios, Shannon Vogt and Alyssa Harris.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Mass stipends for Phillip.
