She was predeceased by : her siblings, Juana and Guadalupe Ramos; and her husband Jesus. She is survived by : her children, Maria D. Meraz (Enrique), Jose Luis Ramirez (Luz Estela) and Armida Mejia (Gilberto); her grandchildren, Maricela Torres (Jose), Elizabeth Langford (Raymond), Enrique Meraz (Esmeralda), Jose Luis Ramirez (Rosie), Juan Carlos Ramirez (Maria Garcia), Joel Ramirez, Margarita Ruiz (Filiberto), Anais, Isabella and Maximus Mejia; and her brother Pedro. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (271 N Farnsworth Ave, Aurora, IL 60505).
