He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Lopez and Ricarda Lopez (Raices); his brothers, Johnny and William; and his great grandchild Xiomara.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise; his children, Monica (Tony), Michael, Raul Jr., Robert (Kelly) and Richard (Datie); his grandchildren, Viviana, Raul III, Ariana, Julian, Oriena and Max; and his siblings, Manuel, Carmen Alvarez, Edilia Conaway and Blanca. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
