It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard D. Luther of Aurora, Illinois, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Porter Luther, Sr. and Mary Grace Card Luther; and his brother Howard Porter Luther, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Terry Rubens Luther of West Memphis; his children, Amy Luther of Baton Rouge, LA and Jason Luther of Montclair, NJ; his daughter-in-law Deirdre Birmingham; his grandchildren, Margot and Eli Luther; and his sister Phyllis Ann Luther Hicks.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or any charity of meaning to the donor.
