He was predeceased by: his mother Aurora Zepeda (Saldana); and his father-in-law Julio F. Plata. He is survived by: his wife Michelle (Plata); his children, Emily Zepeda (Armand Escareno) and Rinaldo Zepeda, Jr. (Alexander Cleveland); his grandson Armand "Ace" Escareno; his father Jose "Frank" Zepeda; his siblings, Esmeralda Tellner (David), Michael Zepeda (Adela), Jessica Marmolejo (Ricardo), Jessie Zepeda (Lilliana) and Jose A. Zepeda (Silvia); his mother-in-law Manuela Plata; and his sister-in-law Diane F. Plata. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Through his gift of donation, he was able to give the precious gift of sight so that someone else could see the world as he did.
