He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harrison and Lillian Catherine Vinson (Krutsch). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn "Jeannie" Vinson; and his children, Robert Anton Vinson Jr. (Linda), John Anton Vinson, Marianne Vinson-Bingham (Tom) and Rhonda Hodgson (late Tom). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
