Robert D. Riney Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert D. Riney of Aurora, Illinois, born in Piper City, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Riney and Marjorie Riney (Doran); his parents-in-law, Edgar Clark Rhoad and Laura Pearl; his siblings, Charles Riney, Margaret Eshelman, Mardelle English and Marlene Pearl; and his pet Tanner.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Rhonda Cochran and Kelli Collins; his grandchildren, Matthew Olson (Beth), Bart Olson (Monica Zycinski), Sam Olson (Katie), Pat Olson (Viktoriia Dolaichuk), Claire Farnsworth (Tyler) and Olivia Collins (Matthew Schlipper); his great grandchildren, Emma (Aaron), Finn, Leo, Mila, Colette, Paige and Dean; his sister Margie Ann O'Mara; and his sisters-in-law, Laura, Linda and Joyce. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
