He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Edwards and Naomi Edwards; his siblings, Doreen Graham, Mary Alice Ready, Danny, Mike and John Edwards; his wife Patricia Edwards; his daughter Kathy Johnson; and his daughter-in-law Deborah Edwards.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Williamson; his sons, Barry Edwards (Debbie), Robert Edwards (Trina) and Ralph Edwards; his granddaughters, Brandi Salinas (David), Amanda Palmer (Shawn), Jennie Edwards-Willert (Jon Michael) and Jessica Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Mateo Godinez, Ava Palmer and Kinley Palmer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at the Riverside Cemetery (414 N River St, Montgomery, IL 60538).
