She was predeceased by: her parents, Parvatamma and Doreswamy; and her siblings, Krishna (Vijaya) and Shankar (Vishala). She is survived by: her spouse Raghuram; her children, Suma Lavi (Anand) and Sudhish Rao (Mamatha); her grandchildren, Shashank Anand (Jiwon), Namita Anand, Suchita Rao and Nikhil Rao; and her sibling Gurudutt (Sujata).
