She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Robert Sumser (Kori) and Stacey Castelluccio; her grandchildren, Kyle, Kayla Fritz, Max Castelluccio, Kelsey and Zakery Sumser; her great grandchildren, Robert and Jonathan; her sister Sondra "Sonnie" Powers; her close friend Victor Campanaro; her husband Robert H. "Blue" Sumser; her parents, Kenneth Brown and Ethel Louise Brown (Thompson); and her siblings-in-law, Robert G. "Tonto" and Louise Sumser. She was also cherished by her nieces and nephews.
