We bid farewell to Edna Ann Mollet of Aviston, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Edna Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benard Thuenemann and Verbena Thuenemann (Nothaus). She is survived by: her husband Robert "Roy" Mollet; her children, Karen Knuepfer (Claude), Cheryl Haar (Steve), Rhonda Graff and Brian Mollet (Julie); her sisters, Dorothy Ross and Jane Heely (Herb Heinen); her brother-in-law Ron Mollet (Dianne); her grandchildren, Amy Primrose (Mike), Kaylen Isles (Thomas), Jacob Knuepfer (Haley), Cassie White, Doug Mollet, Megan Richardson (RJ), Carlene Hempen (Tony), Lindi Hegger (Nathan), Emily Massey (Paul), Chris Mollet (Kryssy), Devon Graff, Nichole Hansen (Jordan), Lesley Mollet, Adrienne Thurber (Alex) and Matt Mollet; her sons, Lester and Eric; her granddaughter Jill; and her son-in-law Randy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home (535 N 5th St, Breese, IL 62230). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (251 S Clinton St, Aviston, IL 62216).
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to St. Francis Parish or Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
