She was predeceased by: her father Daniel R. Markus; and her parents-in-law, James and Emma Huelsmann. She is survived by: her mother Marilyn Markus (Eilering); her husband Kurt Huelsmann; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Huelsmann, Vince Huelsmann, Alice Dien (Mark), Duane Huelsmann, Henry Huelsmann, Mary Huelsmann, Carol Oneste (Frank), Paul Huelsmann (Jean) and Joe Huelsmann (Julie). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (251 S Clinton St, Aviston, IL 62216). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
In honor of Heather, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice and can be received at the church or Nordike Funeral Home at 150 North Clinton Street, Breese, IL 62230.
