He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert; his siblings, Cynthia Grimm and Wayne Parmenter; his niece Sherri Bolduc; and his nephew Zachary Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria Parmenter (Wells); his children, Alison Cremeens (Cary) and Christopher Parmenter (Debra); his grandsons, Logan Parmenter, Ethan Parmenter and Daniel Cremeens; his siblings, Jerry Parmenter (Carolyn), Marilyn Simm, Darlene Caira (Fred) and Bernadette Daniels (Ed); and his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Parmenter, Richard Wells (Donna) and Becky Roebling (Bret). He is also survived by 15 nieces and 11 nephews.
Memorials may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America, the Gary Sinise Foundation, or America's Vet Dogs and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
