With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pauline Wilke of Aviston, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kuhl and Adeline Kuhl; her husband Vincent Wilke; her daughter Judy Heimann; her son-in-law Ralph Brown; her brothers, Aloys "Bud" Kuhl (Nell), Lavern Kuhl and Gene Kuhl; her parents-in-law, Henry and Theresa Wilke; her siblings-in-law, Henry Trame, Veronica Tebbe (Ed), Francis Wilke (Bertha), Ralph Wilke (Theodore), Norbert Wilke (Mary) and Kenneth Rutz; her goddaughter Joyce Deiters; and her nephew Richard Kuhl.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Mueth (Norb), Marilyn Brown, Ronald "Butch" Wilke (Bonnie), Connie Barciszewski (Vince) and Rita Zurliene (Keith); her son-in-law Edward Heimann; her siblings, Lucille Trame, William Kuhl (Glenda) and Rita Schlarmann; and her siblings-in-law, Rose Kuhl, Pat Kuhl, Stan Wilke (Joan) and Mary Agnes Rutz. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children' Hospital, St. Louis Children's Hospital, HSHS Home Health & Hospice, or a charity of donor's choice, and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
