We announce the death of Tanya L. Shultz of Aviston, Illinois, who passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 79. Tanya will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Maziarz and Lillian Maziarz; her husband William "Bill" Shultz, Sr.; and her parents-in-law, Clark and Marcella Shultz.
She is survived by: her children, William Shultz (Jennifer) of Weatherford, TX and Kim Sorgea (Scott) of O'Fallon; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Shultz, Hannah Beresh (Jacob), Riley Shultz, Allison Simpson (Richard), Jarod Schildknecht, Zachary, Ian and Connor Sorgea.
In lieu of flowers, plants, or other gifts, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th Street, Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
