With sadness, we share the passing of Adelia Maxine Perdue of Avon, Illinois. Adelia, born on January 27, 1939, passed away on September 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Schisler and Mabel Schisler (Landon); and her husband Robert K. Perdue. She is survived by: her children, Christine Massingill (Dan) of Berwick, Robert Perdue, Jr. (Leatha) of Knoxville and Thomas Perdue (Noreen) of Avon; her grandchildren, James Robert Perdue (Lauren) of Knoxville, IL, Ashley Perdue of Galesburg, IL, Chelsey Perdue of Quincy, IL and Tiffany Wilson (Cameron) of Killeen, TX; her sisters, Ella Randal of St. Augustine and Sandy Morris of Texas; and her caregivers, Ferry Norcross and Ruth Davis. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial (108 E Washington St, Avon, IL 61415). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Avon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to aid the family with funeral expenses.
